'Will be linked with him in January now' … These Chelsea fans debate move for five-goal ace

It is no secret that Chelsea’s strikers are struggling to impress this season.

However, the club remain unbeaten in the Premier League and the goals are coming from other areas of the pitch.

It is a problem, though, that may be rectified in the January transfer window by manager Maurizio Sarri.

Alvaro Morata is the first-choice option up front, while Olivier Giroud is second in command, but only the former has found the back of the net this season.

Morata has managed just three goals so far, and on Tuesday night, some Chelsea fans pondered a move for Juventus star Paulo Dybala.

The 24-year-old has scored five goals in 10 matches in all competitions this season, and the most recent was netted against Manchester United.

Juve earned a 1-0 triumph at Old Trafford after a dominant display in their Champions League encounter.

After the Argentine hit the back of the net, some Chelsea fans discussed the attacker’s quality and whether the Blues should make a move.

'So perfect for Liverpool' … These fans admire star playing in Man United v Juventus clash

The Champions League encounter between Manchester United and Juventus was arguably the biggest draw of Tuesday night.

Some Liverpool fans watched from the comfort of their homes as Juve put in a dominant display at Old Trafford.

The visitors sealed a 1-0 victory, with Paulo Dybala netting the goal in the 17th minute, but the scoreline could have been by a bigger margin.

Juventus enjoyed the majority of possession and Liverpool fans were left admiring the performance of Dybala.

The 24-year-old has scored five goals in 10 outings in all competitions this season, and his strike on Tuesday night caught the attention of Merseyside.

Liverpool are currently second in the Premier League table, level on points with leaders Manchester City but they have been lacklustre up front.

Having someone of Dybala’s quality would certainly bolster their attacking strength, but given that his contract does not expire until 2022, the Reds would have to table a hefty offer.

There are no indications that Liverpool are interested in signing Dybala, but some of their fans certainly are.

'Just sign him,' 'Dream come true' … These Chelsea fans think six-goal ace will transform team

Chelsea’s unbeaten Premier League run remained in tact at the weekend as they drew 2-2 with Manchester United.

Maurizio Sarri has implemented an attacking philosophy at Stamford Bridge and the players are responding well to it.

One problem that the Blues’ do have, though, is a lack of flair up front.

At the moment, Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud are the Blues’ main strikers but the pair have only struck three goals between them.

For a while Morata has struggled for consistency as Chelsea’s focal point, meaning that the team have had to rely on Eden Hazard and their wide men to provide the goals.

Due to this, rumours have been swirling that the club will try to sign a new striker when the transfer window reopens in January.

According to the London Evening Standard, Chelsea have lined up moves for Inter Milan hitman Mauro Icardi and Genoa’s Kryzysztof Piatek, but it seems that signings either of them is unlikely.

The report goes on to say that Icardi would only consider leaving the San Siro for Real Madrid, while Genoa have ruled out offloading their man.

Chelsea fans have been tweeting their reactions to the latest development, and it is clear to see that Icardi is a favourite among the club’s following.

It is not difficult to see why given that he has already scored six goals and created two assists in nine outings in all competitions this season.

Opinion: Mislintat would pull off biggest Arsenal coup yet with extraordinary Ramsey swap-deal

Italian side Lazio are the latest club to express an interest in Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, Calcio Mercato reports.

What’s the word?

Major changes are taking place at Arsenal under Unai Emery, who is set to approve a major departure in 2019 as Aaron Ramsey rapidly approaches the end of his contract after the Gunners withdrew their offer of an extension.

While it remains to be seen whether Arsenal cash-in during the January transfer window or allow the Wales international to leave for nothing next summer, a host of clubs in the Premier League and Europe have entered the running.

According to Calcio Mercato, the latest side to express an interest in the 27-year-old is Serie A outfit Lazio after they identified the former Cardiff City man as a ‘dream’ addition.

Could this benefit Arsenal?

The Gunners would be handed a bonus by seeing Ramsey snub the advances of their Premier League rivals to move abroad but Unai Emery could use Lazio’s interest to his advantage by offering his services in the January window.

Rather than get a fee for Ramsey’s services, which Lazio would be unlikely to pay as they could land his signature for nothing at the summer, Arsenal should use the Wales ace as makeweight to bring Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to the Emirates Stadium.

The Serbia international was widely linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer but his agent revealed earlier this month he wanted to stay for at least one more year to help Lazio with their push for Champions League football.

While persuading Milinkovic-Savic to move will not be easy, offering him a regular starting spot and handing Lazio Ramsey in return could suit all parties.

Opinion: Arsenal's future would look very exciting if Unai Emery seals £52.8m attacker move

Arsenal are in pole position in the hunt for Roma winger Cengiz Under, according to ForzaRoma.info.

What’s the word?

Unai Emery has led Arsenal to instant improvements after his arrival in the summer as the Gunners enjoy a nine-match winning streak across all competitions, although there is still a need for further additions in January.

One shortfall of Arsenal’s squad is the lack of depth in the wide areas after failing to replace Alexis Sanchez, with the club being overly reliant on the impressive Alex Iwobi and seeking recruits to strengthen in this area.

According to ForzaRoma.info, Arsenal are leading the chase for Roma starlet Cengiz Under as the Italian club prepares to cash-in if their asking price of €60m (£52.8m) is met.

A good addition?

At 21 years of age, Cengiz Under is widely regarded to be one of the best young talents in European football and Arsenal would certainly make a major statement of intent if they were to bring the Turkey international to the Premier League.

With Under and Iwobi, who is just 22 himself, the Gunners would boast strong options for the future and it could be the final piece to an attack that is shining with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette leading the line.

While the hefty price-tag will raise eyebrows, Arsenal showed their willingness to splash the cash on the right sort of addition in last season’s winter window by bringing Aubameyang to the club and signing Under would be money well spent as it would help propel the Gunners back into the Premier League.
